The paper describes the current issue of the quality management in the corporate sector. The focus is placed on medium and large companies, because these companies lead to the creation of the post of the quality managers. The quality should be incorporated in the corporate strategy. These companies should successfully manage the quality of their products, services, business processes and other aspects of the quality. It requires the monitoring and the analyzing the cost of the quality. Attention should be paid to the quality because of its direct impact on the customer loyalty. The quality control can be based on 8 quality management principles whose respect greatly contributes to the increasing the efficiency of company operations. The paper contains results of the research in 60 mainly large companies. This research revealed that the most prominent problem of the quality control is the fluctuacion of employee and insufficient the record keeping of the quality cost.

Discrete event simulation is a modern tool for analyzing complex manufacturing, supply, communication and other business processes. This article aims to describe the difference in the perception of the benefits of simulation between a business that uses this tool and a business where this tool is not available for managers. Conclusion of this article expresses the level of benefit from using simulation in these positions, eg in relation to the project budget, flexibility to changes, etc., in context of managerial functions according to Fayol.

Procesní management v krajských knihovnách

The aim of this article is to start process management of regional libraries. On the basis of an inquiry it was verified, that there is no application of this type of management in regional libraries and the principles of process management are not known sometimes. Visions and derived strategic goals are very close among regional libraries, their realisation is however connected with many factors. The most important of them are the space possibilities. In this article there are mentioned reasons and need of process attitude towards library management. You can find here a tree structure of processes of regional libraries and a description of a process of Czech monographies acquisition. The article finishes with phases of realisation of process management.

Interfunkční koordinace z pohledu podnikových funkcí

The primary aim of this paper is to investigate the evolution of interfunctional coordination theory from the marketing and logistics point of view. The paper also discusses the key attributes of interfunctional coordination from the above mentioned perspectives in present network business environment. Special added value of the paper is in examining the interfunctional coordination via exploratory research from quantitative and qualitative points of view. The principles of external business environment complexity and internal collaboration built up new barriers of interfunctional coordination implementation. The paper identified source and parts of internal and external barriers of interfunctional coordination implementation. Finally is formulated recommendation how to understand external surroundings in relation to internal requirements of interfunctional coordination. At the end of the article is presented solution how to eliminate barriers of interfunctional coordination via application one of the methodologies of enterprise engineering and integration.

Přínos měření procesů v době ekonomické krize

This article refers to application of process control focusing on process measuring. It also emphasizes process measuring as an important approach of managers' models as the model EFQM and the model according to international standard ISO 9001. The contribution deals with evaluation and interpretation of data obtained by research at companies especially from the field of engineering, building industry and electrotechnics. During the analysis is used the classification of companies applied metrics into groups - perspectives applied by the methodology BSC. Coherences are analyzed between forwardness of measurement of companies' processes and their influence towards success of the organization. This research has proved the importance of managing processes for the organization success to a certain manner. Evincible dependency occurs between the level of process measurement at the company and its success at the market when the company has to face up problems coming from the contemporary economic crises is shown especially by the metric being used in the area of customer perspective.

VÝZNAM DOPRAVY V LOGISTICE PODNIKU

Článek se zabývá významem dopravy a dopravních systémů v rámci logistického řízení dodavatelsko-odběratelských řetězců. Vhodné řízení přepravních nákladů je součástí řízení celkových logistických nákladů podniků. Cílem podniku je navýšení hodnoty produktu pro zákazníka při současném snížení celkových nákladů a tak podnik může lépe uplatnit konkurenční výhodu, která je spojena s optimálním využitím dopravních a přepravních procesů. V důsledku rozvoje informačních a komunikačních technologií využívaných pro řízení podnikové a mimopodnikové dopravy mohou podniky lépe využívat omezené zdroje a informace, které umožňují podporovat logistické cíle podniku, kdy se v důsledku lepší spolupráce s klíčovými partnery vytvoří logistická síť, která umožní zvýšit efektivitu jednotlivých podniků.
