THE ROLE OF GENDER IN THE EVALUATION OF MANAGEMENT EDUCATION AND ITS DEVELOPMENT AT BUSINESS UNIVERSITY IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

This paper examines the impact of students’ gender on management education evaluation. The paper aims to test and identify the influence of gender in higher education on selected factors impacting evaluation of management education by university students and to evaluate its development. The areas of influence have been analysed using characteristics of evaluation of management lessons, teachers and subjects. Data for this primary research was gathered using a questionnaire survey administered to business university students in the period between 2015 to 2018. Results show that the number of higher educated women is increasing and their evaluation of management subjects, teachers and lessons is different compared to men. Specific factors impacting evaluation of management education and their development are further tested and discussed. The results may be used in practice to identify current approaches towards higher education by students´ gender preferences. Limitation of the findings of this study is that its application may be impacted because the sample size was limited to business university students. It may be taken as a case study and a base for further research and benchmarking between universities.

ROLE OF INTERCULTURAL TRAINING IN A PROCESS OF HUMAN RESOURCE INTERNATIONALIZATION

The paper demonstrates the importance of intercultural training as a part of expatriation process with the aim to easily adapt in international assignment. Based on review of available training approaches, the research to obtain empirical data was conducted. The experience of a sample of 164 Czech expatriates from the multinational company in the Czech Republic was investigated via questionnaires regardless their host location. Findings illustrate the current practices and highlight weaknesses of their preparation process, such as insufficient timing of preparation, including accompanying families and overall accessibility to the training tools.

EVALUATION OF THE CORPORATE EDUCATION USING THE KIRKPATRICKS MODEL

The article is concerned with the evaluating corporate education. By means of the evaluation attend to interconnect education goals with corporate goals. Many enterprises do not occupy with evaluating corporate education on account of lack time or financial, material and human resources. Managers or senior executives who make decisions about corporate education and investments to corporate education do not have a realistic idea about it, how to evaluate the corporate education. In the article it will define the terms of the corporate education, evaluating education and with its connect advantages and disadvantages. In conclusion, the article will be elucidated Kirkpatrick model, whose levels are used by lecturers and specialists for education and development in enterprises across the world.

THE ROLE OF COMPANY IN SUPPORT OF THE INCLUSIVE GROWTH IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN UNION GOALS

Inclusive growth, which is stressed as a priority for strategy Europe 2020, could be achieved by application of flexicurity approach in employment policy. One of the four flexicurity components is lifelong learning, which is an important part of employee's education in the company. In this context, the aim of the article is to define the role of company in eliminating labor market rigidity, which is essential for social inclusion on the basis of the analysis of the EU strategies in this area. Because the decision on the extent and quality of employee's education in the company is fully in the competence of company, we also emphasize the necessity of the perception of corporate social responsibility as a characteristic that enhances business social function and from the long perspective shape a qualitatively new ground of company's existence.

This article deals with primary research methodology and partial results of cross-border cooperation project, which takes place at Silesian University in Opava, School of Business Administration in Karviná. In the first chapter there are a brief project settings, goals and timeframe description. The second chapter describes secondary and primary research methodology, key project research indicators and their links to next project phases. In the third chapter there are listed factors with positive or negative impact on data collection process. A brief description of their solutions and final impact is listed too.
