The methodology of the staff recruitment is an important area which has passed through the major development in the labour market. The selection of suitable workers has its strategic importance for the long term success and competitiveness of the organization. In the first part the article deals with the theoretical base of the staff recruitment. The research work is focused on the research in the area of the staff recruitment and the analysis of changes which were implemented in this field.

The paper provides survey on the typical situation in present globalized world, where a great number of population lives in surplus economies. Life conditions as well as living standards have significantly increased in comparison with the past even in the most backward regions. The question to be responded, however is, whether material abundance shares appropriate feelings of happiness and content in people's lives. We propose some interesting standpoints of professionals from different scientific branches. At the end we submit our own approach to the role of happiness in modern globlized societies.

The article explores the influence of the selected banking risks on the net interest margin (NIM) of banks in the Czech banking sector. The study estimates potential impact of credit, liquidity, interest and capital risks on the net interest margin. The analysis is carried out with the annual panel data of the Czech Republic banks in the period from 2000 to 2009. Panel regression with fixed effects was used as a key method. From the results of empirical tests it is obvious that the selected risks are not significant determinants of the net interest margin. This text shows a methodological approach for creating national advertising style which is very important for aiming advertising campaigns in non-domestic regions. This approach is based on a numbers of many researches which have been realized and published. First phase is focuses on identifying of cultural dimensions by professor Hofstede and Schwartze. After that is necessary to identify communication context of advertisements in specific region and apply in it the most significant cultural dimensions. We can create specific national advertising style based on these principals.

The article is focused on the portfolio returns modelling, to be specific on the estimation of VaR as a portfolio risk measure. The goal of the article is to discover, how the characteristics of a market evolution influence the accuracy of VaR estimation of the internationally diversified portfolio of stock indices. The paper aims at the use of mathematical methods in economics, namely the game theory application in international relations. The possibility of applying the above-mentioned groups of games in trade policy and international economics is analyzed, emphasizing the group of the Least Developed Countries that are unable to reap the benefits of international trade due to inadequate knowledge of trade issues. The Brochure is a basic communication, presentation and promotional tour operator's tool. In order to fulfill its functions, tour operators have to pay an adequate attention to it production (creative design, printing) and distribution. This is a difficult process (organizationally, financially), which consists of several stages and often involving external organizations.
